John Mayer at Reed Space
Barrett Alley limited edition bracelets will be among the exclusive items available at the John Mayer pop up store at NYC’s Reed Space Monday, May 21st, 2012. Other featured projects will include products from Staple Design, Moleskine Notebooks, Reigning Champ, Incase, and The North Face.
These braided fabric bracelets are handmade from vegetable tanned leather, Civil War-era bone buttons and antique deadstock Japanese textiles. The natural 100-year-old indigo and persimmon dyes will fade into a beautiful worn look over time with exposure to the elements. There are only 72 available, so don’t delay in checking out the event and selecting a favorite.

I would give anything to be in New York right now. Can’t make it tonight from Fall River, MA, but these look incredible!
Can these bracelets be acquired if you can’t make it to NYC?
Try giving the store a call at 212-253-0588.
There any way the bracelets can be bought online… I kinda live in Australia and REALLY want one!!!!!
I called the store this afternoon, and unfortunately they said they are only available in-store. I’m tempted to drive to NYC for it, but thats a bit absurd. If only they knew how much I want one, maybe they would make an exception. Hahah
What is it that makes them JM?
Is there something John Mayer related on them or what?
John has a passion for authentic, handmade textiles and the labels that use them in their designs. He is a big fan of all the brands he chose to work with on this collaboration. With the bracelets, each one is individually numbered and signed “JM x BA”.
I love my bracelet…it’s exquisite and so meaningful to me. I put it on while buying it and didn’t get the little piece that describes the the material, etc. Was that part of the purchase? Thank you.
We made little cards and striped gift pouches for each bracelet. If you didn’t get yours, stop by Reed Space again and ask!
I live. In Ca. Would love 2 have the bracelet. I absolutely love the CD I bought it the day it came out! LOVE IT
Definitely need an international delivery mechanism. What a struggle.
Keep an eye out on the John Mayer Webstore for pop-up shop items. They might show up there.
REALLY want one how can I get one?!?!?!
Check out their webstore here: http://johnmayer.shop.musictoday.com/Dept.aspx?cp=235_22850&sort=&page=0
How do you purchase the JM/BA bracelets listed on John Mayers site? The only thing they show brings you to your site. Is there anyway to see which ones are still available for sale, and how much are they?
Would love to know. Hope you can respond.

In the comments above, you keep giving a link to the webstore as a response, but the webstore does not have the bracelets? Will the store have them at a later date? When and where can we buy these ONLINE?
Hi Kyle – the bracelets sold out instantly once they appeared on the John Mayer webstore. We’re planning some more limited edition items to be announced soon. Follow Barrett Alley on twitter to be the first to find out. Thanks!
